Legal Experience

In her 20 plus years of practice, Lynda has prepared many estate plans ranging from simple wills to more complex wills with trusts. The advanced directive form drafted by Lynda McMaken received high praise from the Mayo Clinic, where doctors called it, “the best they'd seen.”

Powers of Attorney, both durable and specific, are important documents in managing financial affairs during life.

She also works in the area of business law, from setting up the most-appropriate structure (sole proprietor, limited-liability company, corporations or partnership) to common business legal needs for the closely held business.

Clients also rely on her for counsel with acquisitions, financing, real estate transactions, government regulation compliance, contracts, and complex negotiations.

Lynda presents community workshops in estate planning, business law and divorce.
