Dear Lynda: Please allow me to express my personal and professional appreciation for your efforts on behalf of the Kitsap County Sheriffs Office and the citizens of our county. The citizens are fortunate to have a person of your caliber working on their behalf.
We are in the final construction stages of the new Kitsap County Jail. Your efforts were instrumental in achieving the funding and community support necessary for this valuable public safety project. It was impressive to me that you did this because of your concern for our community nor did you seek public recognition for your contributions. While this is one of your trademarks, it is such a rare commodity that I felt it deserves recognition.
I have also appreciated your wise council and guidance over the years. They have helped me in a quest to transform the Kitsap County Sheriffs Office into a premier public safety organization. Most importantly, thank you for your confidence in me. Your support gives me the courage to address the challenges ahead. Best wishes for health and happiness.
